Congratulations on taking the initiative for such a project. If you are able to create a comprehensive, up-to-date database of Canadian fabric and trim suppliers, you will certainly make a huge impact on the Canadian design scene. Sourcing local fabric is always a pain, especially when you are not working with huge quantities. Be sure to list suppliers’ minimums etc. to save everyone a lot of headache!

Genius!
As a fashion designer in Toronto I find it increasingly difficult to find the
fabric I want. I waste too much time searching for certain fabrics (especially
nice leopard prints) and going store to store, it drives me crazy! This new

I stumbled upon your website in my never ending search to find new suppliers.
I purchased my business 5 years ago and manufacture choir gowns, minister robes,

I think the idea is really good. Nobody is doing it! In fact you are right!
It is so hard and time consuming to go from store to store looking for the perfect
fabrics.
I also suggest having a section where we can find, beads, ring stones, threads,
scissors, paper for patterns, etc ... and even fashion magazines subscriptions.
